GPDA is implementing a three year agroforestry project with a funding from Germany lions club, Germany federal ministry for economic cooperation and development and Antonia Ruut Stiftung.

Among the project goals, One is Introduction and plantation eight fruit bearing trees such as mango, avocado,banana, orange, lemon,guava etc. In this regards we have launched introduction of more productive and export oriented 100 avocado orchard (Hus,Etinger and Fuert species) in to Gamole training center.

Once this seedlings started bearing a fruit and production of Sion we can graft plenty of local avocado species for introducing local farmers and entire community. On the other hand we have prepared more than 4,000 local avocado tree seedlings and waiting for the exact grafting time.
